When we went in the hostess informed us that they were in the middle of shift change an got us waters until the waitress came out. When she came out she promptly took our drink order and appetizers. I was a bit disturbed that she put her breast in my man's face without any acknowledgement and she smiled. The food is impeccable, great flavor although a bit much on the oil with the Salmon and collard greens.
The Brewery shares the parking lot with the Fairfield Inn. We have stayed at the Fairfield a few times but have never went over. This time we did. We were not really hungry so we just got finger foods.
First off went you walk in go wow with all of the whiskeys and other distilled products and the many beers that they will fill up your growlers with.
The service was prompt and friendly. This is a relatively new building and it looks nice. They have a barrel club where you can join and create with their help your own flavored whiskey and age it there. May be something we try later.
The bathrooms are nice bright and clean.
There is a lot of room to accommodate large parties.
The food and drinks were outstanding. While we didn’t eat a lot we observed all of the items brought out and they looked good.
If you’re in the area of passing through this is a good stop and it’s right off the freeway and a very nice area to enjoy.
Food was okay, but very very slow. Not sure why but we waited for 40 minutes for our food on a quiet weekend day. The order was wrong for two meals, which they fixed promptly but one was for a very hungry kid. As you can see from the photo, they didn't have much interest in clearing plates off the table and the waiter was a bit surly... I suspect he was busy.
The blackened salmon sandwich was dry.
When it is good, it is good. When it was bad....it was bad. Table of 6. Food took forever. My burger was amazing. Mac and cheese was good. The chicken sandwiches were rubber. Drinks were great. Waiter forgot to split the check. I just paid for it rather than wait more.
The place itself is beautiful, clean! Friendly welcoming upon entrance.
Server was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu, and when asked questions about menu items that she did not know the answer to she went and found out the answers. We appreciated that. The house salad was pretty good. The onion rings I would say we’re a 6/10.
We love, onion rings so the bar we set is high for them! The the french fries are double fried which were really good, they were smaller fries and more of the crispy end pieces of natural cut fries, looks like they use a smaller potatoe. My husband loves that type of fry. I prefer the longer hand cut fries, so if you like the ends and pieces, these would be great to you and those are my husband’s favorite. my husband’s burger was amazing. The beef had a very great flavor and they are hand formed patties. The bacon on the burger was delicious and the buns are grilled 9/10.
He also got a side of poutine which he has never eaten or ordered. It’s been something that’s been interesting to him, but never could quite pull the trigger. He tried it here and he said it was pretty good, but he’s never had it before so if you are a person who loves it we couldn’t say if it was the best or the worst. I can say it has made him have the desire to order it again there or at different places. They use the same double fried fries and cover it with brown gravy and cheese curds. I believe it’s more of a Canadian thing.
My go to is a wedge salad, Theirs came with red onions blue cheese, bacon crumbles tomatoes the presentation of the salad looked pretty good, but the salad itself was lackluster and not very good. The blue cheese crumbles were almost minced in the dressing and maybe minced together with the bacon that was seemed minced. I didn’t care for that at all. I won’t be ordering that again. We will be back, and give it 1 more try but I will be ordering a burger next time! I would say for brewery food it’s probably a 7/10
We had great and fast service, but the food itself was kind of meh. The meatloaf was bland, the poutine was flavorless. The tri tips was just okay- the meat itself wasn't seasoned but it had a decent bbq sauce on it that covered that up, same thing for the grilled salmon- salmon itself had no flavor but the sauce on the plate was pretty good, the potatoes and green beans were good. Beers were decent. Expensive for what it is.
We have been there 5/6 times and 3/3 times I have gotten chicken, it is beyond cooked. Consistency of shoe leather. The burgers 2/3 times were also way over cooked. No seasoning. Tastes like a bun fill of lettuce and tomato. Very unhappy every time we have went.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. At outside. Our waitress was awesome. Perfect cooked food. Real great flavors. Thank you.
